Zoom App Guide

This guide explains how to add, use, and remove the note1 Zoom app.

What the note1 Zoom app does

The note1 Zoom app connects your Zoom account to note1 so you can import scheduled Zoom meetings into your note1 calendar. This helps you organize upcoming meetings, prepare notes and context before calls, and review meeting summaries and action items afterward.

Add the note1 Zoom app

Sign in to your note1 account.
Open Dashboard.
Go to Account → Integrations.
Select Connect Zoom.
You will be redirected to Zoom.
Review the requested permissions.
Select Allow to authorize note1.
After authorization, Zoom redirects you back to note1.

When the connection is complete, your Zoom account appears as connected in the note1 integrations page.

Use the note1 Zoom app

After connecting Zoom, note1 can import your scheduled Zoom meetings into your note1 calendar.

To sync meetings:

Open Dashboard → Calendar.
Select the sync button.
note1 imports upcoming scheduled Zoom meetings from your connected Zoom account.

Once imported, Zoom meetings appear alongside your other supported meeting sources. You can use note1 to prepare for those meetings, add context notes, and manage meeting follow-up.

Schedule note1 for a Zoom meeting

To schedule note1 for an existing Zoom meeting:

Open Dashboard → Calendar.
Find the Zoom meeting you want to prepare or review.
Select Schedule AI if the meeting is not already scheduled in note1.

You can also manually add a Zoom meeting link:

Open Dashboard.
Select Launch Live Assistant.
Choose Open recording terminal.
Paste your Zoom meeting link.
Add an optional meeting title, date, and transcription language.
Select Start Capturing.

Remove the note1 Zoom app from note1

To stop using the Zoom integration in note1, contact note1 support at support@note1.ai and request removal of your Zoom integration data.

You can also remove the app from your Zoom account:

Sign in to your Zoom account.
Open the Zoom App Marketplace.
Go to Manage → Added Apps.
Find note1.
Select Remove.

After removal, note1 can no longer access your Zoom account through OAuth.

Data used by the Zoom app

note1 uses Zoom OAuth to identify the connected Zoom user and import scheduled Zoom meetings. note1 may store the Zoom user ID, Zoom email, OAuth tokens, granted scopes, token expiration time, and meeting metadata such as meeting title, meeting ID, start time, duration, and join URL.

OAuth tokens are used server-side only to refresh access and sync meeting data. For more information, see the Privacy Policy.
